Community

The Youth Cadet Force plays an active role within the community. Cadets as part of their role play a number of roles with in serving the community which involves networking with others.

Cadets must achieve a minimum of 100 hours giving back service to the community to achieve a yellow proficiency badge that recognises their valuable contribution.

The level and offer of service can come from joint ventures through the YCF or in carrying out other examples and having their contributions recognised by members directly of the community.

These include:

Local charity events
Supporting local businesses
Work in collaboration with the town and county council
Support work with local charity groups

Working with local primary schools
Remembrance Day services
Christmas Carol services
